The MX121 is the “entry” ticket to McIntosh’s range of AV Control Centers. But like its other more expensive lineup, the MX121 has the same unmistakable warm, clean and punchy sound. If you need more features like 4K Ultra HD support, than you would need to go for the $14,000 MX160. But if you are looking for a control center that will meet 95% of today’s audio and video processing, the MX121 is more than sufficient to do all of them. Add its room correction function and the MX121 can easily transform your dedicated audio/video room into a first class setup. The unit comes complete with everything that it came with from the factory – Audyssey mic and stands, remote, manual and original double boxes.
Cosmetically, the unit looks really good. Very cared for by the previous owner who had a complete McIntosh setup that included six MC301, MVP-891 and MCD500. He is replacing the MX121 with the MX122.
