The P-150 is one of those great products that simply throws you out of bounds. Encased in a nearly all aluminum chassis and remote, your first physical feel of the product just gives you the vibes of expecting great things from this preamp. Although compact in size, it has a nice weighty feel to it and its spike feet is a nice touch to add greater isolation to the preamp.
Powering it up eagerly, we were astounded by its detailed revelation of music. Transparency is almost unheard of at this price point. It is so ruthlessly revealing that every bit of nuances was conveyed across. Disc after disc, track after track, was a delightful experience. The P-150 is not a preamp that you will find easily in the used market and this rare opportunity to own one is your one chance to get it before it disappears.
The preamp has some very minor scuff marks on the top which is visible at certain angles but otherwise look very good. The external sides of the flight case also has some scratches but has no critical impact on the preamp.
